The Roarin' Blue Band is one of very few organizations who has the bandwidth and parent support to run the concessions stands at the TISD Stadium.
One of the perks of running the concessions stand is our band earning a percentage of sales at the close of the season. In order to earn this incentive, we must meet certain requirements, such as ensuring volunteer needs are sufficiently met. This means you can support our band simply by volunteering a few hours of your time!
We staff the concession booths for all home games. For the Patriotic Show we staff half and Tomball HS staffs the other half.
A food handler's certificate is required for everyone that volunteers in concessions. Our Concessions Coordinator, Cydney Hudspeth, will be forwarding more information to you soon.
Dress Code:
All Volunteers working in the concession stand must wear compliant food service apparel including a school spirit shirt, jeans/pants, enclosed skid-resistant shoes (No Crocs), baseball cap or other hair restraint (hairnet).
Shirts must have sleeves and show no midriff, and pants must fall below the knee.
Positions:
All positions are trained and explained in more detail upon arriving for you shift. We work the entire game and are given breaks as needed by other RBB parents.
Cashier: Take orders; Accept payment; Deliver orders
Runner: Assists Cashiers with getting order and delivered to the customer
Back of House: Works closely with TISD employee to prepare the food
